The research projects funded by The Brain4ward Foundation will in first instance focus on what causes PD and what are the earliest signs of PD, physical as well as mental.

Ultimately this should bring the research community a significant step forward towards a cure for PD, which will slow, stop or reverse the progression of PD. The Brain4ward Foundation will not fund research that is directed only towards symptomatic relief.

The independent research committee will consist of various individuals that are prepared to think out of the box and do not necessarily need to come from the neuroscience field. We believe a different perspective on neurodegenerative diseases is necessary.
